Meet Benjamin.
Benjamin Smith, MDiv, CSCS, helps high-performers identify their purpose, train the concrete skills to pursue what matters most, and live a life of meaning and joy in the process.
Benjamin’s high-performing clients come from across disciplines including athletes and coaches, doctors, performing artists, members of the military, and C-suite executives. He consults with leading sports organizations and presents for Fortune 100 companies in the Silicon Valley.
His clients are concerned with preventing burnout, connecting work with core values, finding time for rest and relationships, and sustaining excellence under challenging conditions. Through partnering with Benjamin they leave with greater clarity, confidence, and the skills to remain grounded under pressure. He coaches leaders in building teams that share in vision, story, and deep relationship, becoming greater than the sum of their parts.
Benjamin holds a Masters degree from Yale University studying the world’s wisdom traditions and uses contemplative practices, to help clients clarify their definition of a life well-lived. With this foundation, he applies the science of sport psychology, helping clients train their mind using the same mental tools as world-class athletes. His approach is informed by the ICF Co-Active Coaching and Presence-Based Coaching models, along with Internal Family Systems and Acceptance and Commitment Training.
In addition to performance coaching, Benjamin serves as a performance coach for athletes and spiritual director and retreat leader. In his free time, he coaches high school football and shares in rich conversation with close friends. Benjamin is based on the West Coast.
